Hello, this is my eportfolio on my main subjects and one of the big projects called 2 minutes to make a difference. 2 things that I am pretty good at are being able to socialize pretty well with my classmates and the ability to comprehend things. But 2 things I should get better at would be taking my homework more seriously because it is a huge part of my mark. Another thing that I need to work on is my adding and subtracting...(yes still).

Term 1 Reflection
Term one was a fun time, with the math teacher which I never really seen before since I came to this school. Mr. Harbeck barely gives us homework but he makes us do the blog which is not that hard. I didn’t finish some of his work because I’m a bit lazy sometimes. But i do most of my homework.

Term 2 Reflection
I think this term was a really good one because it had most of my favourite subjects in math such as Percent, Surface Area, Volume.
What I did well was on the subject Volume, the reason I did good on it was that I really thought it was cool finding the space an object takes. For example to find the volume of a Rectangular prism the formula is V=L x W x H. The other formulas for finding the volume of triangles and cylinders are (for Triangles) B x H1/2 x H2. For the cylinders it is V = π x r x r x h then substitute.
The subject I had the most trouble on was the Surface Area nets. Nets were like the abomination of humanity for me. It was like tasting burnt marsh mellows for the first time, in overall I disliked it sooo much.
Now volume, I have to say I LOVE VOLUME!!(<3). Volume was like ice cream cake, it was so easy for me because it was formulas. Formulas are like cookies and milk plain and simple. There is so many things I remember for example the formula for finding volume a circle is V= PIxRxR. Another formula I remember is the formula of a rectangular prism which is V=LxWxH.
Integers
I'll explain some things i got wrong on my Integers test.
Okay, the first thing I got wrong was on a pretty easy question :(! The question was (-72)/(-8)/(-3), the reason i got this wrong is because I forgot the rule of the signs. The rule was when there are even amount of signs (positive and negative) it's negative. But when there is an odd number of signs it counts as a postive (-) and another (-) = a (+).
Another question I got wrong was the 6th question, the reason I got this wrong is because integers don't like me at all (meaning that my BEDMAS and subtracting sucked). The equation was 7-[(-5)x3]. My stupidity told me to remove 7 from 5 which got me 3 (now this is completely wrong but that's what I got.)Then I made -3 groups of 3 which game me -9. You can guess that it's way off.
